There are 10 waterfalls in Buleleng. One of the most visited by tourists is the twin waterfalls or Campuhan Waterfall (Gitgit Twin Waterfall). Name of Gitgit is derived from the name of the village where the waterfalls are located. It takes about two hours to reach Gigit twin waterfalls by driving from Denpasar to Buleleng through Bedugul.
Gitgit waterfall tourism object offers beautiful waterfalls, natural mountain fresh water with a natural forest environment. This waterfall is located in Gitgit village, District Sukasada, Bali. Gitgit village does have the highest waterfall in Bali, compared Sekumpul, Les and Munduk. To reach the site, visitors have to walk on the main line for a few hundred meters from the parking area passing the rice fields, clove and coffee plantation. There is a natural and cool environment in the mountainous area of the plateau. Arrive at the waterfall site visitors will be amazed, by the natural and beautifully of the waterfall which situated away from the crowded and pollution. This waterfall is called Colek Pamor. Colek Pamor waterfall is not a tourism area, because it was deep in the forest. There is no good way to reach this waterfall, but the narrow muddy path which used by local people to get to their garden fields. Along the way you will be see some cocoa plantations, fruit trees, and bamboo. Before you reach the waterfall, you will arrive at the river on the top of the Gitgit waterfall. The view from the top is very nice.
After finding the river, you will cross a bamboo bridge and the path will be slightly uphill and finally you will find a broken hut with sign "Air Terjun Colek Pamor". From this hut, you only can see a river with calm and pure water and hear the sound of water. Walking at the river side and after passing the bend, you will find a waterfall. The water falls from 50 meters height which coming from the cave. The cave is an underground waterway, which carries water from the Buleleng River to Gitgit. The waterfall is worth to visiting. This is the perfect place to admire the beauty of nature in the middle of a quiet environment.
